So I think it's been about two months since I posted last? Nothing too exciting happened, but here's a quick recap:
- I started school.
- I have been feasting my eyes on the cute TA from anatomy class.
- I got back into my makeup hobby. Kind of. I'm trying to control myself; I don't quite think it's working out.
- I reminded myself that I am truly a loner at heart, no matter how unacceptable it is for a woman to be a loner in today's society. Damn double standard.
- I saw Legally Blonde the musical!
- I turned 20. Which means that I am of legal drinking age in pretty much every country but my own.
- I visited the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio, which was fascinating. And very sad -- it got me thinking that Disney is just not the same business that it was in Walt's day.
- Also went to Chinatown, Ghirardelli's Square and Fisherman's Wharf on Sunday. Acted like a tourist.
- The electricity restarted a few minutes ago...
Anyway. I'm feeling a bit tired and sick, so I will cut it short here, but I thought I should post something. At least to let the public know I'm alive, haha. =)

Least favorite day of the week for me is Tuesday. (And look what today is!) Two reasons: one being that Tuesday is the middle of the week for me, and the second being that Tuesday is one of my long days in which I get out of class at six.
Favorite day is Friday because I have no class. And it's the start of the weekend. That's probably reason enough.
PROS:
+ Denzel Washington/Gary Oldman banter is awesome. "What's your chemistry like?" Their response: "...It's like good sex! With roleplaying. You have the proper English gentleman and the thespian African American."
+ HOLMES. I am so looking forward to this movie. Robert Downey Jr. is so full of himself, but in a funny way. Needless to say, I am also anticipating Jude Law as hot Watson. Apparently, he rocked the 'tache so well that when he shaved it after filming, no one recognized him.
+ Hayao Miyazaki. He looked like a Japanese Colonel Sanders, it was epic. But seriously, his answer to why he has mostly female protagonists in his films? "Because women are beautiful and strong." Good answer!
+ Something something dark side... Family Guy panels are always great, especially when they're spoofing Star Wars, and this time they had ALL the Griffins on the panel (Seth Macfarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis)
+ I dressed up as Flo the Progressive Insurance girl and got reactions quite a bit!
+ Tons of free crap
+ Tons of bought crap
+ SD Tekken's room looked awesomely pimped out thanks to Namco
+ Heroes carnival! Free popcorn! Free cotton candy!
CONS:
- Nasty B.O. from people who swear off deodorant
- Looooong line for the WB panel stretching all the way back to the water
- The Cleveland Show isn't as funny as I thought it would be... (except for the comic nerds bit)
- Preview Night was even busier than Saturday! What the heck?
...And that's about it. No pictures, since I didn't take any.
Anyway, now that Comic-con's over, my summer is pretty much over too. So sad.

Off to AX! Hopefully all my hard work will pay off. I actually got quite a bit of help this year from both sisters, which helped tremendously.
Um... so yeah, I couldn't really continue watching Boys Before Flowers because I ended up getting fed up (yeah, not very fond of Goo Jun Pyo) pretty easily. I stuck around a bit to watch the Yi Jung-Ga Eul bits though, because those two are adorable.
Well anyway, life has been sweet after quitting work. Though I miss having money. I'll have to look for another job come August.

Omg. I'm actually watching (Korean) Boys Before Flowers and I'm kind of addicted.
Yet I watched about ten minutes of the Japanese one and couldn't do the rest of it. What the heck?

To celebrate my impending emancipation from Slavery Kingdom, I just blew $80 on clothing from the Forever21 website. Good thing that allowance is coming up AND I'm getting paid tomorrow, so likely that money will just go right back.
However, now I'm eyeing those white Dr. Martens 1460 boots. Depending on where I purchase them, they'll set me back anywhere between $90 to $115. Looks like I've got a bit more saving up to do.
---
I've got my sister hooked on Pi Li MIT. Isn't the most awesome drama you've ever seen, Ate??

I was just wondering... where the newspaper boy was.
I miss working in the front stores already. At least up there, I have stuff to do! The time passes by so slowly in the back stores because it's not busy at all.
Oh well, at least I had a long lunch today (my lead combined my lunch and my last break), so I went to Carl's Jr. across the street, haha. I enjoyed myself.
On the downside, my feet are all swollen; it's disgusting, haha. But at least I can look forward to a big paycheck next week!

+ Last final was today!
+ Ninja warrior new episodes on demand at Kim's house. How I wish I had comcast.
+ Random decision to drive to Sacramento today
+ Cheesecake Factory! Chicken/pasta plus strawberry shortcake yumm
+ browsing Arden Fair mall, watching as Kim and Nicole ogled at all the different stores
+ Oldtown Sac! Evangeline's is a legit place, seriously. I wanted to buy one of the retro-style aprons they have there, but I don't have $30 to spend.
+ Getting lost on the way back to my sister's condo
+ Gems like "HAUF BRAU" and "BET...namees"
+ Hanging out with my sister while she was taking a break from studying
Good times! So far my summer's been awesome. Too bad I'm working tomorrow, ha.

So at work today, the retail office calls me asking about my availability from now on. I say that next week is my finals week and I'm free at any time after that (except for June 11).
Then when I come home, there's a nice email in my inbox from the office, scheduling me for all closing shifts from Tuesday 5/26 to Saturday 5/30. Oh, dear DiscoKing, how you exploit your adult workers.
This is a pretty big deal for me since I usually only work weekends, haha. But anyway! I'm off to pop some more allergy medicine, for I'm all congested.

My totally last-minute ochem presentation on ibuprofen and aspirin wasn't too bad. It wasn't as epic as some of the other presentations, but it was okay.
Also speaking of school, I registered for classes today! They're all my first choice classes too, including anatomy (finally). Though I don't know yet if I'll have to retake history; if I do, I'll have to drop cultural anthro. I'm also taking stats this fall, so we'll see how this goes, haha. I haven't taken a math class since Fall 07.
Anyway... the personal goal of daily exercise isn't going so well. I don't have the discipline to set aside an hour each day for cardio. I keep telling myself that it's okay to split up the hour into half-hour increments; at the beginning of the day and at the end, but it doesn't exactly help as I'm not exactly one of those people who can get up at six in the morning to exercise. [Not a morning person.]
I HAVE A FULL DAY OF WORK ON FRIDAY, ugh. And then I also work on Saturday 12-8p. Before finals week! That's just bad luck. I can't wait to quit, ha.

There comes a lovely time at least once a year (sometimes twice) when I feel incredibly lethargic and tired, yet I can't actually sleep for more than four hours at night. My study habits have gone slack and all I can think of is "who cares anymore, there's just the final exam left!"
I don't know about you guys, but I'm about ready for summer! Just have to get through these next two weeks, then finals week, and then I am out!
Also, come mid to late June, I will be awaiting my emancipation from Slavery Kingdom, haha.
--
Okay, I know that I talk about dramas a lot in my blogs, but I finished Pi Li MIT over the weekend and it's REALLY good (hence the new icon). It's a must-watch if you like the mystery genre. Of course there's romance in there, too, and Guilun is too cute for words.

Finally my registration priority sets me as a continuing student! Hopefully I'll be able to successfully register for anatomy this time without having to go and add first day of class.

I've been catching up on my TW dramas again, haha. I marathoned Brown Sugar Macchiato over the weekend. Probably either tomorrow or Thursday I'm going to start Pi Li MIT and see what all the GuiLun fans have been spazzing about.
-
Don't you love Urbandictionary? This is my absolute favorite word at the moment:
dudevorce - When two male best friends officially end their friendship over a lame disagreement, usually concerning a girl.

I'm not that worried about the grade thing anymore. I'm not exactly sure if this is a good thing or not, but I find that the most terrible news really doesn't affect me for very long anymore. I think that I'm just too much of a happy person to be down for very long, haha. Plus today I treated myself to a little retail therapy. It's skirt season after all. =)
They keep assigning me closing shift at work. Not saying that I want to be stuck at slavery kingdom for the whole day, but more hours means more money, and I need that.
---
Also, I spent five hours at Barnes and Noble studying for ochem/biochem today! I feel pretty accomplished. Tomorrow I'll tackle lipid metabolism, and then the rest of the weekend will be review.

...I don't know what to do. Curse my inability to wake up to an alarm; I just slept through a history exam that I can't make up.
Plus I already did pretty bad on a writing assignment before, so I don't know where my grade stands right now. I'm thinking a D right now. Ugh, I don't want this! I haven't had a D since high school.

My allergies have started up, plus we had a sudden rise in temperature this week. I'm not a very happy camper right now.
Midnight showers are awesome. I purposely didn't use a hairdryer so I could let the water wick away on its own, cooling me down in the process, but it's kind of pointless now. I just got out the shower about twenty minutes ago and my super-thick hair is already half dry, that's how disgustingly hot it is.
Of course, this is coming from someone who thinks that anything over 80 degrees F is torture. The thermostat reads 76, but I don't believe that.
My spring break is pretty much over now. It was fun while it lasted. On the plus side, there's only about a month left before the end of the semester!

I'm very much enjoying myself right now. I can't say that I've been sleeping in as much as I would like to, but it's okay. Speaking of beds, I still don't have one in my room (yeah...) so I'm going to clean this weekend and when the parents get back, we're moving the futon in my room for now. When my sister moves out from Sacramento, we're going to take the big bed there and then that one will replace the futon. Woo-hoo!
I haven't cracked open my chem book once since break started. I should at least look over the chapter.
Nothing else is really going on... I close at work tomorrow, that's about it.
Um... yes.
My favorite song/drama as of late. You know, except for the cheesy boy band-ness of the MV.
P.S. Blind dates are awkward.

Theme park customers suck.
- Work was horribly boring. I made a grand total of three sales today. Two of them were candy sales.
- The glass face on my watch got a huge crack.
- I only realized when I got in the parking lot after clocking out that I forgot my umbrella in the store.
- I had some eye candy in the form of a cute Asian guy across the way from my store. Unfortunately after I had been working for about an hour, he apparently was done at that time, and some old grumpy lady switched with him.
- I'm sick of looking at Thomas the Tank Engine.
On the other hand... SPRING BREAK!

I just spent the last three hours watching ToGetHer (no, that's not me using stickycaps, that's the title) aka Superstar Express.
I still have to catch up. I'm really liking Jiro Wang's role in this one though; he plays the self-absorbed fallen idol very well. It's such a departure from the desperate will-always-be-just-a-friend type that was Ah Jin in ISWAK (and to a lesser extent, TKA). =]
Rainie, on the other hand... hm, maybe I'm just used to her playing outspoken roles, so she's not really convincing me as a comic geek, but we'll see how the rest of the series pans out.
